Couravo Privacy Policy

Version date October 24, 2026 · English

This policy explains what information is processed on couravo.app and in the app at app.couravo.app, why it is needed, who receives it and how to contact us about it. It applies to visitors, registrants, users and people contacting support.

Couravo is a service for adults to practice communication and meeting people, with saved progress and guidance from an artificial intelligence coach. Conversations and reports may contain sensitive personal information. We recommend describing situations without other people’s names or identifying details.

1 Who is responsible for the information

The service operator and data controller is Itzhak Nisanov, trading as Couravo, business registration number 027784511. Address: 5 HaRav Goren Street, Herzliya, 4632800. Telephone: 054-896-2056.

For privacy, access, correction or deletion requests: support@couravo.app. We recommend putting “Privacy” in the subject line and writing from the email address associated with your account. Do not send a password, card details or a copy of an identity document without a specific, justified request.

2 Information received and stored

When you sign in through ChatGPT, we receive an account identifier and email address, and a name if the sign-in service provides one. Couravo does not receive your ChatGPT password.

Your account stores exercise stages, start and update times, comfort ratings, summaries, task and exercise completion, and flags used to display one-time welcome or completion messages.

Activity reports may include a date, a place or type of activity you enter, descriptions of people without names, age ranges of adult women, the number of conversations and reciprocal conversations, what happened and how you felt. Questions to the coach, its answers and feedback on reports are also stored and linked to your account and exercise.

If you previously joined the list of interested users or used an available registration form, we store the name and email you supplied, the referral source submitted with the form, registration time, age confirmation and consent version. Exercise data from the previous trial period may also have been retained. This policy does not retroactively create consent for a new use of old information.

Support requests include the sender’s details, message content and any files you choose to attach. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses, browser types, access times, request paths and error data. You do not need to provide GPS location, contacts or gallery access to practice.

3 Purposes of processing and your choices

Information is used to identify your account, save progress, display history, provide personal feedback and conversation continuity, enable voice features, handle requests, maintain security and prevent abuse. Registration details are used for the purpose presented when you registered, and consent records help establish how registration took place.

You have no legal obligation to provide Couravo with personal information in order to join. The choice is yours; without sign-in details we cannot associate an account and progress with you, and without a question or report we cannot provide tailored feedback on it. You may omit unnecessary personal details. Browsing public pages does not require writing a report or talking to the coach.

The coach provides automated feedback based on what is written. Feedback may be incorrect and is not a diagnosis or an authoritative assessment of you or anyone else. Your information is not shown to other users as part of the service.

4 What is sent to the artificial intelligence service

When you submit a question, the question text and relevant previous messages from the conversation are sent to OpenAI through an API to generate an answer. When you request feedback on a report, the report’s content is sent; follow-up conversations also include the report, feedback and conversation context.

The system does not add your email address or account identifier to coach requests as identifying fields. However, personal details you write in a question or report are included in the content sent. Therefore, do not enter full names, telephone numbers, addresses, medical information or intimate details that are unnecessary for practice.

The question and answer are saved in your Couravo account for continuity. OpenAI’s processing and retention of information are also subject to the terms applicable to its API service. Do not assume that a conversation is anonymous, is not passed to an external provider or is never stored.

To play an answer aloud, the answer text is sent to OpenAI’s voice generation service. This text may also contain details from the conversation. The current features do not use conversations for personalized advertising or to train a separate Couravo model.

5 Microphone and speech recognition

Activating the microphone is your choice and requires permission from your device or browser. Speech recognition is performed by the browser or its service; depending on the browser, your voice may be sent to an external provider for transcription.

When dictating into a text field, you can review and edit the transcript before sending it. In voice conversation mode, the transcript may be sent to the coach automatically at the end of a speech segment. The app stores the text sent and the answers, not an audio recording of your voice in its practice database.

You can type instead, stop the microphone and revoke its permission in your device settings. Revoking permission does not delete text already sent and stored. Do not record another person through the service without appropriate authorization.

6 Who may access the information

Providers involved include OpenAI for sign-in, hosting through ChatGPT Sites, and answer and voice generation; Cloudflare for hosting infrastructure and the database; and the browser or speech recognition provider when using voice. Email requests are also stored by the support mailbox provider, Porkbun, and the email providers involved in delivery.

The landing page loads a font from Google Fonts. This may transmit network request data to Google, such as an IP address and browser details. Opening an external link, such as Instagram, takes you to a service with its own privacy policy.

The operator and those authorized by the operator may access information to the extent needed to respond, maintain the service, ensure security, investigate faults or address rights. There is no guarantee that only an automated system can process or see the information. Account data is not intended for public disclosure.

Information may be disclosed where legally required, under an order, or to resolve a dispute and protect rights, to the extent necessary. The current system does not sell personal information or transfer conversation content to advertising networks.

7 Processing outside Israel

Providers use international infrastructure, so information may be stored or processed outside Israel. There is no commitment that all information remains in Israel. Transfers are subject to applicable law and the arrangements governing providers’ services.

You may contact support for information about providers and relevant data transfers. This policy does not authorize unlimited transfers to any destination or for any purpose.

8 Cookies and storage on your device

A language preference is stored in a cookie called couravo-language for up to one year or until deleted. The browser may also store cookies needed for sign-in and security. Users of the old trial may still have an earlier access cookie; it does not grant subscription eligibility today.

The app stores preferences locally, such as muting the completion sound, and caches an offline page and app icons. The app’s cache does not store conversations, reports, API responses or personal audio files.

You can delete cookies and site data through your browser. This may reset preferences or sign you out, but does not delete information stored in your account on the server. The current version does not include advertising tracking tags or third-party audience analytics tools on the site.

9 How long information is kept

Practice data and conversations are kept in your account so you can revisit content and maintain continuity. The current version does not automatically delete them simply because a subscription ends, you stop using the service or uninstall the app. You can contact support to request deletion or account closure.

Information is retained as long as needed for the purposes described, subject to legal obligations. Following a deletion request, we assess what can be deleted and what must be kept, for example to meet a legal obligation, handle a dispute or document a request. Information no longer needed will be deleted or de-identified.

Backups, security records and correspondence held by providers may be deleted according to their retention cycles. Immediate deletion from every copy is not guaranteed. You can request an explanation of what remains and why it is retained.

10 Access, correction, deletion and other requests

You may request access to personal information about you and correction of information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or outdated, in accordance with law. You may also request deletion or account closure; the extent of deletion and exceptions will be assessed under the law and the circumstances. Additional rights are preserved wherever applicable law provides them.

Send the type of request and the relevant account email address to support@couravo.app. We may request additional, proportionate information to verify identity and prevent disclosure to someone else. We will respond and handle the request within the time limits prescribed by law.

Deleting practice data may prevent recovery of your history and progress. A deletion request is not necessarily a subscription cancellation request, and cancelling a subscription is not necessarily a request to delete information. If you want both, state this explicitly.

You can contact the operator with a question or complaint about how information is handled. Your right to contact the Privacy Protection Authority or another competent body and exercise legal rights is preserved.

11 Security, age and communications

Access to your account and its data requires sign-in and authorization. The operator uses access restrictions and available infrastructure measures to protect information. No system is completely immune. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support and take steps to secure your sign-in account.

The service is intended only for people aged 18 and over. Do not enter personal information about minors. If you learn that a minor’s information has been provided to the service, contact support for investigation and action.

Service messages are intended to operate your account and respond to requests. Marketing emails will be sent only in accordance with consent and law, and you can request removal. Using the app or reading this policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive advertising.

12 Payments and policy changes

At the date of this version, payments on the site are inactive and you must not enter card details. Before payment processing is activated, we will specify the payment provider, the information it receives and the information kept by Couravo. Do not email card details or passwords to support.

The policy will be updated when the service or data processing changes. Material changes will be presented clearly, and fresh consent will be requested when required. Updating the policy does not retroactively authorize new uses of information already provided.

Version date: October 24, 2026. Contact: support@couravo.app.

Privacy, consent and deletion

By accepting, you agree to send your questions, activity summaries and relevant conversation context to OpenAI to generate replies and speech. Replies may be incorrect; do not enter identifying details about others. You can withdraw consent here at any time and continue exercises without AI.

For voice conversations, your browser or operating system may process audio through its speech recognition provider. The transcript is sent to the coach; spoken replies are generated by OpenAI. Microphone permission is separate and optional.

Deletion is permanent: your Couravo account, progress, activity summaries, coach conversations, AI consent and content reports will be removed from active systems. Your Couravo website registration with the same email will also be removed. Your ChatGPT account is not deleted.

The selected reply and the details you enter will be available to the Couravo operator for review. Personal details are not required.
